Who I am . . .

Filipino American, Pacific Islander, husband, father, pastor, ecumenist, liturgy scholar, Jesus lover, doctor of the Church, coffee aficionado, tennis player, dog owner, avid runner and reader, Cub Scout Den Leader, soccer coach, parliamentarian, traveler to 6 continents.

Birthplace:  The beautiful island of Guam

Married to Grace née Rhie, an amazing Korean American woman, former marketing executive, Presbyterian deacon, manager of family Korean publishing company. We met at the 2001 Convocation for Asian American Presbyterians and got engaged at the General Assembly Council.

Father to Daniel – an active reader, baseball and soccer player, Bear Cub Scout, eager deacons’ apprentice, pianist in training, master Lego builder, he wants to be a police officer, he’s going to take up French this year.

Father to Andrew – natural-born athlete (he can spiral a football), Tiger Cub Scout, comedian, pianist in training, scooter rider, he wants to be a fireman, he’s going to take up Mandarin this year.
